The Tapas Art Challenge 2023 ("Event") begins on 2023/12/05 00:00 AM PT and ends on 2024/01/16 at 11:59 AM PT ("Event Period"). By entering into this Event as a participant, you acknowledge that you have read, fully agree, and understand these rules below ("Official Rules") including but not limited to the agreement resolve any disputes by biding arbitration.
 

• How to enter the event:

  • Entries must be submitted via X or Instagram by January 16th, 2024 using the #TapasArtChallenge2023 hashtag.

  • Entries submitted via X and Instagram must be publicly visible.

  • Entries submitted via X and Instagram must use the correct hashtag, or it will not be accepted into the challenge.

  • You must follow @tapas_app and @clipstudioofficial

  • Multiple entries are allowed. Please post each entry individually.

  • No purchase necessary.

• Selection of winners and prizes: 

  • Winners of the Coloring Challenge will be chosen completely at random.

  • Winners of the Draw this in your Style (DTIYS) Challenge will be judged by a team of judges based on quality, artistic skill and originality.

  • Winners will be contacted by Tapas Entertainment via X or Instagram direct message, or e-mail. Winners must respond within seven (7) days after initially contacted, or we will consider the prizes as forfeited.

  • The winner(s) will receive 120,000 Ink (Coloring Challenge) or 360,000 Ink (DTIYS Challenge) that can be used to Support creators or unlock episodes. 

  • Ink rewards will be sent via Inbox > Messages in the Tapas app within seven (7) business days after contacting the winners. We will ask for the winner’s Tapas account email address.

  • Tapas Entertainment is not responsible for any undelivered communications, including without limits to e-mails or messages that are not received because of a participant's privacy or spam filter setting. The right to receive a prize is non-assignable, non-transferable and no prize substitution, exchange or cash equivalent will be allowed, except by Tapas Entertainment at their sole and absolute discretion. All other costs and expenses not expressly set forth herein shall be solely the winner’s responsibility. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing.

  • Prizes and awards may be withdrawn even after the winners are announced if it is found that a winner has violated any of the contest rules. If withdrawn, any prize money or rewards will be returned by the recipient. 

• Content Rules:

  • Entries must follow the Tapas Content Guidelines.

  • When applying to enter the contest, please keep in mind that your entry will be viewed by a diverse set of people of different nationalities, cultures, and ages.

  • Entries must not discriminate against mental or economical disadvantages, and must not include defamatory elements or profanity.

  • Works must not violate individual privacy.

  • The entry must not depict nudity or sexual content. Entries must not depict overtly sexual or obscene material.

  • Entries must not depict child prostitution, pornography, or abuse.

  • Entries that disrespect anyone's freedom of religion, politics, belief, occupation, sex, etc.

  • The entry must not be in breach of the law, public order, or morality.

  • No entries that are fanart, or depict real people, or existing characters, products, or brands are allowed..

  • No entries created exclusively through the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) are allowed.

  • No entries that contain socially offensive content are allowed.

  • Entries must fit the contest purpose.

• Timing: The Event will run for one period of eligible entry as defined by the Event Period. Tapas Entertainment will be the official time-keeping official for this Event and the Event Period.
  The submission period and date of result announcement may be subject to change without notice.

• General: Participants must also follow the rules and guidelines of accompanying social media platforms the Event may be run through. Tapas Entertainment will not be liable for any damage to participants or others in relation to the Event.

• Privacy and Personal Information: All personal information collected through this Event is subject to Tapas Entertainment's Privacy Policy. Tapas Entertainment reserves the right to use a participant’s entry and produce materials in order to market and promote in relation to this Event or any future event. 

• Subject to Applicable Laws: 

  • ​This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

  • This challenge is void where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable local laws and regulations.

  • No purchase necessary.

  • Winners will be subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these rules, as determined by Tapas Entertainment and Celsys in its sole discretion.

• Binding Arbitration of Disputes: Please read this Section carefully. It is part of your contract for this Event and affects your rights. It contains procedures for MANDATORY BINDING ARBITRATION AND A CLASS ACTION WAIVER, except where prohibited by law. Pursuant to these Official Rules, if you have any dispute or disagreement with Tapas Entertainment regarding or relating to the Event or other aspect of your interaction with Tapas Entertainment or the website or service where this Event appears, including any data or information you may provide to Tapas Entertainment or that Tapas Entertainment may gather in connection with such use, interaction or transaction with them, you will not have the right to pursue a claim in court, or have a jury decide the claim and you will not have the right to bring or participate in any class action or similar proceeding in court or in arbitration. All disputes must be solved through binding arbitration coordinated through both parties.
