Early Access Program
Our Early Access Program (EA) allows creators to place their latest episodes of a series behind a paywall for a limited period of time. Readers of the series can purchase the episodes to read ahead, or wait until the episodes become available for free. Creators on this program have either a large following on Tapas, or a very dedicated and supportive fanbase.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, creators on this program commit to updating their series regularly, and keeping episodes exclusive to Tapas while behind the paywall. Exceptions to the exclusivity may be made for other supporting platforms such as Patreon.
Application Process*
At this point, EA accepts applications from creators with a large Tapas following. Creators with smaller accounts are added by invite only. Scrolling format series are preferred, and we love submissions of series available in both English and Spanish. EA accepts both comics and novels.
To apply, you must:
1. Follow our Content and Community guidelines
2. Have a minimum of 10k subscribers on your series on Tapas
3. Update your series regularly (at least twice per month)
4. Have a buffer of at least 3 not yet published episodes
Creator Bonus Program
Our Creator Bonus Program (CBP) pays creators based on the numbers of views their account generates every month. Creators on this program have either a large social media following, or are smaller, up and coming creators we’re looking to support.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, creators on this program commit to sharing their series regularly with their followers on social media. There is no exclusivity.
Application Process*
CBP accepts applications from creators with a large social media following. Creators with smaller accounts are added by invite only. CBP accepts both creators of comics and novels.
To apply, you must:
1. Follow our Content and Community guidelines
2. Have a minimum of 50k followers/subscribers on any platform except Tapas
Tapas Originals Program
Our Tapas Originals Program provides creators with the opportunity to tell their story exclusively on Tapas. We are looking for unique stories with outstanding artwork, done by creators who are reliable and professional.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, creators on this program commit to updating their series regularly and are exclusive on Tapas.
Application Process*
Tapas Originals currently accept applications from creators with proven success. Creators can apply with either an already publishing series that has a large following on any platform, or with a new concept. You can be a newcomer to Tapas to apply. Currently the Tapas Originals Program only accepts comics, but teams are welcome.
To apply, you must:
1. Follow our Content and Community guidelines
2. Have a minimum of 15k followers/subscribers on your series on any platform
3. Be able to create 3 episodes per month, 25 panels minimum each
4. Create in scrolling format
